Benson

Benson

Benson was a 12.3hh black (with a few grey hairs) Fell gelding.

He was 27 years young when he passed away on 13th Aug 2018, he was bought by the group at the age of 10.

He had been a much-valued volunteer for 17 years and spent his last two years enjoying a well earnt retirement. Many owe a debt of graditude to this robust little chap who taught so many to drive and the enormous fun and enjoyment they had with him. R.I.P Benny 15.5.1991 Р13.8.2018

Rainbow

Rainbow

Rainbow is a 13.2hh dark dun New Forest gelding who was bred on the forest. After being kindly loaned to the group each week, he was then bought by the group in 2011.

He is 22 years old this year and has been volunteering with the RDA for 12 years and has now been retired.

Teddy

Teddy

Teddy is a 14.3hh bay Irish Cob gelding

He is 11 years old and joined the group in 2015. He worked hard all winter in order to pass the RDA Assessment and be ready to join us for 2016 season. He sailed through his assessment and now volunteeers alongside Winston and George. 2019 is his fourth season with the Group.

George

George

George is a 14.2hh bay Cob gelding.

He is 9 years old and joined the group in late 2016 as our newest volunteer. He has kindly been loaned to the Group.

He worked hard all winter in order to pass the RDA Assessment and be ready to join us for 2017 season. He sailed through his assessment and now joins Winston and Teddy in our weekly sessions.  2019 is his third season with the Group.

Winston Stanley

Winston Stanley

Winston Stanley is a 14.2hh chestnut Welsh Section D gelding.

He is 11 years old this year and joined the group in 2013.

He has now been bought by our Group Organiser Susi who is kindly loaning him to the Group for our weekly sessions and any competitions.

Woodchurch Driving Group RDA is a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association and is a Registered Charity. The group offers Carriage Driving experience for disabled adults some of whom are wheelchair dependent.
